## Abstract

This preprint presents the architecture for the Quantum-Resilient Privacy Ledger (QRPL), a digital currency platform built for long-term quantum security. The author details the implementation of a privacy-preserving layer that utilizes lattice-based cryptographic commitments. Unlike existing privacy coins that rely on ECC, QRPL uses multivariate public-key cryptosystems to facilitate secure, untraceable transactions that remain protected against future decryption efforts. The methodology focuses on balancing the computational intensity of quantum-safe proofs with the needs of a performant, high-frequency currency. The paper describes a state-based approach to validation that minimizes the risk of double-spending while maintaining confidentiality, suggesting a viable path forward for central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) and sovereign financial assets in a post-quantum world.

## Key findings

* Multivariate cryptography provides a scalable alternative to ECC for privacy-centric ledgers.
* State-based validation models mitigate double-spending risks in quantum-safe environments.
* QRPL architecture supports sovereign requirements for privacy and auditability.
* The ledger achieves a balance between security and transaction throughput.
