## Abstract

This paper frames blockchain technology through the lens of dynamic capabilities theory, investigating how firms can leverage decentralization to foster circular supply chain management (CSCM). The authors argue that blockchain acts as an enabler for resource recovery, re-manufacturing, and waste reduction by facilitating transparent information sharing across the product lifecycle. The study posits that firms possessing high 'blockchain-enabled dynamic capabilities' are better positioned to respond to sustainability pressures and regulatory demands. Through a survey and analysis of organizational practices, the paper identifies the specific organizational processes required to derive value from blockchain investment. It suggests that technology alone is insufficient; rather, the alignment of human capital and data-driven strategy is critical for achieving circularity. This work contributes to the management literature by bridging blockchain technology with strategic sustainability management.
